We are a licensed insurance broker with a history dating back to 1996. The recipe for our company’s success is a team of experienced professionals and their passion for finding solutions.
As a consulting company we provide comprehensive brokerage services to Polish and foreign companies as well as to public sector institutions. We support our clients in the conclusion of insurance contracts, servicing of operative policies and in the handling of claims.
Thanks to our many years of experience and remarkable knowledge of the insurance market, we efficiently carry out tender competitions and reduce the costs of insurance for our clients.
We also provide assistance with issues which involve actions beyond the standard handling of policies. We advise our clients with regard to public procurement law, management of receivables or valuation of fixed assets. We help arrange employee benefits and occupational medicine facilities, and well as advise on how our clients might specify insurance or warranty requirements in relation to their contractors.
We represent our clients before insurers as appointed proxies holding powers of attorney issued by our clients. We are remunerated in the form of brokerage commission which is paid out by insurers and included in advance in the insurance premium.

Scope of services
PROSPECTOR provides comprehensive brokerage services to companies and institutions. The standard activities we undertake on behalf of the client include:
- audit of current policies and analysis of existing claims,
- identification of risks and construction of an insurance programme,
- conducting an insurance competition,
- analysis and comparison of the offers collected,
- conclusion of the relevant insurance contracts,
- maintenance of the concluded policies.
Once the insurance programme has been implemented, our service includes supervision and participation in the process of reporting and liquidation of claims, as well as day-to-day administration of policies (additional insurance of new assets, assignment of policy rights, etc.).
In addition to the administration of property and liability insurance, we support clients in managing their company’s commercial risks. In this respect, we arrange trade credit insurance agreements and, together with our partner, advise on debt collection. We can also assist in arranging a factoring agreement.

PROSPECTOR’s offer to public sector entities additionally includes the participation of a specialist broker in the work of the tendering committee and assistance in the preparation of the terms and conditions of the contract and the selection of the most advantageous insurance offer. Alternatively, at the request of the contracting authority, we conduct the entire insurance tender procedure on its behalf.
A separate area of our services is the support of HR departments regarding benefits for employees and managers. In this respect, we mainly arrange:
- private medical care programmes (subscriptions and insurance)
- group life insurance
- international medical expenses insurance
- personal accident insurance
In addition, we advise on the organisation of pension schemes, including Employee Capital Plans.
In summary, our role is to help clients optimise their insurance in terms of coverage and costs. And, in addition, thanks to the takeover of insurance matters by PROSPECTOR, our clients and their employees have more time for their main tasks.
International activity
Since 2019, PROSPECTOR has been operating as an affiliated company with AU Group, an international brokerage company specialising in trade credit insurance and factoring. AU Group was founded in 1929 and is headquartered in Paris. The company operates through 54 offices in 39 countries and serves more than 4,500 companies worldwide. PROSPECTOR has become AU Group’s exclusive partner in Poland.
The establishment of this cooperation has opened up the possibility of serving our clients not only in Poland, but also in other countries where their affiliates operate. By joining the AU Group, we have increased our capacity to arrange international receivables insurance programmes. By taking advantage of economies of scale, our clients achieve measurable savings in insurance costs and can more easily manage credit risk at group level. In addition, they receive local brokerage service in individual countries through our network of AU Group partners.
At the same time, PROSPECTOR offers foreign companies operating in Poland, a brokerage service within the framework of international receivables insurance programmes arranged by their headquarters with AU Group.

Through our cooperation with the AU Group, we have facilitated contact with the headquarters of international trade credit insurers (Atradius, Coface, Credendo, Euler Hermes). In addition, through access to an information exchange platform, we receive current data and reports from our partners on credit risk in individual regions of the world and on developments in the global trade credit insurance market. Think this service is too expensive? Brokerage services are free of charge to the client. In accordance with market practice, remuneration in the form of a brokerage commission is paid by the insurer selected by the client, with our involvement. The costs of administration and distribution, including any commissions, are included in the premium in advance by the insurers; they are not added on.
